TPS65982: how can I config the chip with different mode in circuit

I want to use this chip to config the USB type C mode as belows, but I need the switch the modes in circuit. so if this chip can meet the requirement?

1. usb type C to usb3/usb2

2. usb type C to 4 lane DP

3. usb type C to 2 lane DP and usb3/usb2 combine.

That means I can use a mcu outside to config the TPS65982 cause this chip can be configed by I2C. But how to got the config file for I2C configuration?

Hi Cun,

Are you looking to make converter cables whose one end is Type-C and other end either USB/DP or both?

It's possible to configure the TPS65982 in all of these things using the configuration tool. You can make minor changes to the configuration by writing to the respoctive registers over I2C once chip is booted up.
