THVD1550: How many node it can support

Hi Team,

In THVD1550 product folder, it shows support node number is 256, but 196 nodes in datasheet. May I know which description is correct?

And SN65176B's product folder shows the ESD rating of HBM is 2KV. But it is not showed at datasheet, is there any document can be shared with customer to prove this ESD rating?

The datasheet is correct; we will work to update the parametric table to match it. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

For the SN65176B ESD rating, I am looking to see what documentation we have. This can be a little complicated for devices this old. I'll let you know what I find later this week - sorry it will take a little time.

THVD1550 is a 1/8 unit load device, the max. bus load should be 256[32/(1/8) ]. Could you please help to explain why THVD1550 can support only 196 unit loads.

Vincent,

The lower-speed devices in the THVD15xx family are considered 1/8 unit load, but the THVD1550 is not. You can see this in Section 5 of the datasheet, and it is reflected in the bus input current specifications as well. The THVD155x variants have slightly higher input leakage current than the THVD151x variants, and this is what limits the maximum number of nodes.

I found some documentation on the SN65175B ESD rating and will send it to you today via email.
