DS90UB926Q-Q1: IC output LVDS signal waveform

Part Number: DS90UB926Q-Q1

In fact we use DS90UB304Q as custom product, that should be same with DS90UB925.

I checked the output waveform of LVDS IC for TxOUT0 and TxCLKOUT,some questions for that.

1.We use I2C to set the output voltage to typ300mV. But in the waveform CLK is 308mV and R0 260mV.

They are within the spec range but why so much different between each other.

2.We use this LVDS IC data as TFT input,so the TxCLKOUT should be TFT pixel clock, right?

CLK frequecy is also determined by input RIN+ and RIN-, right?

3.The waveform of TxOUT0 and TxCLKOUT look different, CLK is like PWM more.

The waveform of TxOUT0 is correct?

The first time to use this type of IC,wish to get some advice, thanks.

  • Hi, please see below feedbacks:

TI: sorry UB926 is DVP output and has no LVDS output. so what is the part or what is the question?

regarding the output swing issue, please use high bandwidth probe / scope for more accuracy. We can't have more moments based on the degradation waveform you provided below.

2.We use this LVDS IC data as TFT input,so the TxCLKOUT should be TFT pixel clock, right?

CLK frequecy is also determined by input RIN+ and RIN-, right?

TI: Yes, but the CLK freq. is dependent on the video source NOT on RIN+/-.

3.The waveform of TxOUT0 and TxCLKOUT look different, CLK is like PWM more.

The waveform of TxOUT0 is correct?

TI: pls use high bandwidth probe/scope for this test to get accurate result.

    regards,

    Steven
