Hi Sundy,

This feature is not advertised in the datasheet - so the short and conservative answer to this question is a "No".

However, this is a somewhat strict view of the part. In reality, the implementation in the 1540 depends on the end application. As documented in the threads linked above the part can successfully work in a fair amount of hot-swap applications without issues.

If you/your end customer would like to use this part, and the Hot-swap feature is a must-have, we'd be more than happy to work with you and dig deeper into the end application and give a more in-depth assessment.
