DS125DF410: Support 40cm PCB Trace Transmission

Hi, Team

My communication customer want to use DS125DF410 in their AAS product. They want to use it to transfer 12.5G data through 40cm PCB trace. Can DS125DF410 support 40cm PCB trace transmission?

    Hi Kevin,

    DS125DF410 CTLE has a gain of 34dB at 5GHz. Normally gain rolls off after 5GHz. What matters is mainly insertion loss versus distance. Gain at 12.5G nyquist is somewhere between 30 to 35dB. Please check loss at 6.25GHz nyquist and as long as loss is less than 30dB we should be fine.
