Hello,

Which TI USB-to-I2C adapter pods are supported by SN65DP159 EyeScan Tool ? Is TI "USB-TO-GPIO" adapter supported ? This info seems to be absent from "EyeScan Tool User's Guide" (SLUUBK2–November 2016).

The EyeScan utility is designed to be used with the TUSB3410 that is part of the SNx5DP159EVM.

Hi JMMN,

Ok thanks for info. We want to use EyeScan tool with DP159 that is on our board, so we would need to acquire SNx5DP159EVM to perform the USB-to-I2C bridge function and then jumper wire I2C from SNx5DP159EVM to our board's DP159.

Yes, that is the easiest option and there are headers to easily access SDA and SCL on the EVM. Or a less expensive option would be to use a TUSB3410EVM, but this requires installing and programming an EEPROM: www.ti.com/.../tusb3410uartpdk.
