hi Team,

my customer Marelli is in RFQ NEXTEV ET7 cluster project, SOP 2Q2020. We are driving Marelli to promote TI PHY DP83TC811R-Q1.

But now NEXTEV want to know if our part has compatibility testing report with MARVEL PHY 88Q1010 or SWITCH 88EA6321, i find our compatibility testing report has NXP BOARDCOM... but dont have MARVEL, could you help to give some advise how can we convince customer that our device is compatible with MARVEL ? thanks !

    Hi Linda,

    The DP83TC811 has passed the OPEN alliance IOP testing as performed by an independent third party. In the testing done by the third party, Marvel is not a certified link partner.

    The DP83TC811 has been proven, over millions of link up iterations, to be compatible with 4 PHYs. This is the highest testing possible, the DP83TC811 should be considered an extremely high quality and compatible link partner because of this.
