I used a 3.3 v single mode 20km standerd 9 pin optical module and made a media converter. I made two media converters and they work well with each other. But both don’t sync with the eathernet switch on fiber.

I want to communicate media converter with fabric switch on fiber.

Any suggestions please.

Hi muhammad,

I am not sure how your system is configured that you are having issues with.

Could you please provide a system diagram showing the optical connections to your media converter and your Ethernet switch that is having problems?

I'd also like to see schematics of the media converter as well.

Sir ,

i am using 9 pin (1.25G 20Km, 1310nm, lvpecl inpts and out puts,lvpecl signal detect.) standered optics with media convertor, connections with phy are as provided in data sheet of phy and in evaluation design also, using Huawie 5200 series switch with Huawie 10 km single mode SFP.
