TS3USB221 typical application is to interface one host processor with two USB connectors in order to use only one of them at a time.
My application is just the opposite. I have a redundant system with two host processors and only one USB connector. That USB connector is going to be used by only one processor at a time, the one that is in charge of the system at the moment. I guess TS3USB221 is completely valid for this purpose, since it's bidirectional, but I wanted to be sure before going ahead with the design.
Could someone help me with this question, please? Is TS3USB221 really valid for my application?
