SN65DSI86: DSI to Displayport question

Hello,

A question about video interface.
I need to bridge a DSI interface (Raspberry Pi 3) with a monitor DVI or Displayport.
Can I use the SN65DSI86 to do this? What's the difference eDP to DP?

SN65DSI65 supports DSI to DP or eDP, it will not support DSI to DVI. eDP is a substandard of DP. The main differences between the two are different physical connectors, different usage models (DP - open system, eDP - closed system), and signal wirings.
