Hello,

I would like you to confirm about alternative EVM of TPS65983B.

Now, we are considering to use TPS65983B as PD controller and enable alternative mode.

However, there is no EVM for TPS65983B.

1. Could you please tell me which EVM will be used to evaluate function of TPS65983B ?

2. If you have, could you please tell me the EVM not only PD controller but also MUX(correspond to alternative mode(such as TUSB544, 546, 1046)) function device is implemented ?

    Hi Ryuuichi,

    The TPS65983B is only recommended for use in TBT Devices that are following an Intel reference design. if this is not your application, I would suggest using the TPS65987D instead. The EVM for TPS65987D is available online.
