THVD1550: About THVD1550 EMC tolerance and protection function

Hello Expert.
Thank you for your special support every day.
I have a questions about THVD1550.
My customer is evaluating this product.
However, there seem to be two doubts.
① Does the EMC resistance drop at high temperatures?
②Customers are testing destructive power supply voltage for this product.
　With SN65 HVD 485, applying 10 to 11 V will cause overcurrent to flow and break.
    However, with THVD 1550, overcurrent is limited when 7 to 8 V is applied.
    Is there a protection function at overvoltage in the power supply part of THVD1550?

    Thanks for evaluating THVD1550. I'm not quite sure what EMC resistance you refer to. Do you mean the resistance of the device when an overstress event happens? Both SN65HVD485 and THVD1550 have 7V abs max at Vcc pin. Any voltage above that could permanently damage the device. But the results are kind of statistical since they depends on the voltage level and how long the duration is.
