DS90UB953-Q1: Compatible deserializers?

I can see the DS90UB954 is the recommended deserializer-  but could I use the DS90UB948 deserializer as it also has an FPDIII interface.  Also just to check, the DS90UB953 eval board does come with the (camera) interface board,  but you have to order the USB2ANY separately. Thanks

    Hello Ajay,

    You can't use the 953 with the 948. These devices belong to 2 different families hence they are not compatible.
    With the 953 you can use the 936, 954 or 960.

    Yes, with the 953 you get the imager board attached.
    No, with our EVMs you do not need USB2ANY because this microcontroller is embedded on most of the EVMs.
