Dear Support

The customer has a signal integrity fail issue.

First about the signal over +- 0.6V, we change EQ from 11 to RR,it can fix this issue.
but they have another issue about jitter and noise
Do you have any suggestion?

    Would you please send me the layout in Allegro format if it is possible? I want to take a look at the entire SuperSpeed signal routing from the PCH to the USB connector.

    What is the trace length from PCH to the TUSB1002A? Setting of RR is 10dB at 5GHz Nyquist frequency, this translates roughly to 10in trace. The setting of RR may be too much and you may need to further reduce it. Do you tune Channel 1 or 2 EQ?

    Please also remove the ESD components to see if it helps with the jitter performance.

    TUSB1002A is a line redriver which means beside jitter caused by the channel ISI, it will not clean up any random jitter. The change in random jiiter has to come from the PCH.

    Are you also using TUSB1002 or TUSB1002A?
