DP83848I: RX_ER always low issue

Hi team,

It is nice to find you all here. My customer used two pcs DP83848 in their system and they all works normally before, below is waveforms of two different PHY from one unusual board. One has a communication issue with RX_ER always low, while the other one works normally. Already done the cross-over experiment and the issue is not related to our device.

Could you please help check what may lead to such issues?
How to debug such issue in this case?

Thanks for posting the question. Someone from our team will get back to you in a couple days. In the meanwhile, can you share the schematics? Also, is there any setup or board difference between the normal and abnormal system?

Hi team,

I think it is no need to get the schematic for these two PHY have the same components and work normally before. I think we should focus on the reason what may cause RX_ER always be low. Thanks.
