Hi,

My customer wants to change AUX VID range.
They think tuning it to about 1V.

Could you give me a solution circuit to change AUX VID range, please?
=>Is series resistor best?

1V on AUXP would exceed the DP130 AUX voltage spec.

Why do they need 1V on AUX?

The only way to boost differential peak to peak voltage is increase the voltage on the source side.

The AUX bus is a bidirectional bus, whatever solution circuit has to accommodate traffic going both direction. Plus, different host would have different AUX communication timing requirement, add solution circuit to AUX would add skew and potentially violate this timing requirement. So from electrical and timing perspective, I don't think there will be a good solution circuit. The option I gave is to boost source differential peak to peak voltage.
