TMDS171 occurred with fixed Retimer mode.
SN65DP159 has Auto mode,
Does it occur in Auto mode?

Hello Ishii-san,

If the SN65DP159 enters retimer mode, the color shift issue is possible. Auto mode allows for both redriver and retimer modes.

Hello Ishii-san,

Yes, by default the DP159 will be in redriver mode until 1 Gbps (usually below 1080p) and then transition to retimer mode. The color shift issue can occur in retimer mode only.
