DS90UB933-Q1: 0201 size AC coupling capacitor on DOUT+/DOUT-?

Hi Team,

My customer is looking to use 0201 sized capacitors for AC coupling on DOUT+/DOUT- . Is this recommended? What do we need to consider for using a smaller capacitor different from the EVM?

Im thinking it should be ok as long as its the same value. With a smaller package i am expecting a different high frequency response when the parasitic's of the capacitor begin to take over but since its main purpose is for ac coupling  it should not be an issue. Please correct me if i am wrong.

    Please refer to the typical application diagram in the 933 datasheet for the recommended cap values in DOUT+ and DOUT-. The recommended values are 0.1uF and 0.047uF respectively and rated for 50V and as long as the cap ratings are met you do not need to use the same exact components shown in the EVM. The BOM in the EVM user guide is provided for reference only.
