If SN1702001 is set as CDP mode, is it sill able to support aple 2.4A device? Just wondering if it can output 2.4A under this configuration? CDP output is 1.5A.

The TPS2546 does not support divider mode 3 which supports 2.4A. It will support 2.1A in divider mode 2

I could not find out the divider mode current capability in datasheet. Could you show me where it is? Thanks.

Nic,

I divider mode, you are able to set the ILIM utilizing the R_ILIM_HI resistor to set the amount of current you wish to provide. You can provide 2.4A, but the TPS2546 will not tell the down stream device that it supports 2.4A, so it might not make full use of the available power.
