Hello Team,

Our new project use DS90UB926Q-Q1 and ds90ub927q-q1 realize LVDS to FPDLINK3 and FPDLINK3 to RGB parallel LVCMOS function.

Now we encounter below trouble,

1\Where can we find the driver of DS90UB926Q-Q1 and ds90ub927q-q1 used in Linux system?

2\How to use ALPF to configure the register between DS90UB926Q-Q1 and ds90ub927q-q1? by the way,our MCU on DES side as a master.

1. no special register is required for setting. you just use the mode pin of devices.
2. do you need the remote I2C assessment? if needed, you should configure the reg. of de-ser.

Hello Junqiang,

Yes we use remote I2C assessment, and we want the MCU with I2C bus as a master on de-ser side.

We want use the I2C to configure GPIO0 and GPIO1 as a communication port between ser and der.

How do we operate it? thanks.

1. pls refer to I2C over FPD-Link app. note as below link www.ti.com/.../snla131a.pdf;
2. you also can refer to UB926's d/s on I2C reg., basically you should: a. set the I2C pass-through; b. set the i2c alias name of ser. and remote slave; c. visit remote slave and ser with their alias i2c addr..
3. you can search many similar cases in e2e link.

Hello Steven,

Now our project during debugger status.

chip as below

lvds --- DS90UB927Q-Q1---FPDLINK----- DS90UB926Q-Q1----LCD

Host (local)I2C controller on DS90UB926Q side.

We use STM32F103R8T6's PC10 as SCL,PC11 as SDA simulate I2C bus and I2C bus with 4.7K pull up resistor.

DS90UB927Q-Q1 --- I2C address 7'b 0x0c configured an 40.2K pull low resistor.

DS90UB926Q-Q1 --- I2C address 7'b 0x2c configured an 40.2K pull low resistor.

We encounter I2C communication issue

1\When we send chip DS90UB926Q address has ASK bit,but register address without ASK bit.

2\After ACK bit SDA level from 3.3v to 2.8v,why occur this phenomenon.

Enclosed waveform

Channel 2 the blue color is SCL

Channel 1 the yellow color is SDA

Hello Steven,

We want to configure GPIO 0 and GPIO 1 as an UART, how to realize it.
We want on ub927 side GPIO0 as an output and GPIO1 as an input.
We want on ub926 side GPIO0 as an input and GPIO1 as an output.

DS_WriteOneByte(0x10,0xf8);
