DS26C31MQML: Reading date code

Part Number: DS26C31MQML

Hello,

Could someone explain the meaning of "D" and "9A" on the 1517D 9A marked on this DS26C31MQML?

thank you
Andrew

  • Andrew, the D represents multiple lots with same year/week of seal. So, there would be 1517A, B, C, D, ...
The 9A represents the date code for the base wafer diffusion. ie, wafer lot.

  • I see. thank you for your help.
COuld you please explain how to calculate the datecode for 9A?
Is it month (9 = september)?

    thank you
    Andrew
  • Good morning!

For wafer fabriacation date code it is last digit of year (0-9) and quarter (A/B/C/D) so 9A is, for example, 1Q2009.  Each QML Class Q and CLass V lot is accompanied by a Processing Conformance Report which will list the decoded information.  See "Texas Instruments QML Lot Documents" at www.ti.com/lit/SBOA140
