TPS65987D: Billboard Event

Hi Anderson,

That GPIO event should go high when billboard is presented. I would suggest trying on maybe GPIO1 as GPIO0 has default behavior on Power On Reset. More details can be found in the TPS65987D datasheet.

I tried on GPIO1, GPIO14 and GPIO21, but the result is same low.

How does TPS65987D detect "billboard is presented"?
Do C_USB_P/N detect any conditions? or Does TPS65987D detect from PD negotiation result? or other?


My understanding is below. Is it correct?
When TPS65987D doesn't enter any Active Modes, the GPIO mapped "Port 0 Billboard Event" goes High.
I'd like to use the GPIO as the trigger to expose the Billboard Device.

The TPS65987D only detects billboard events from PD Negotiation. For example, a failure to enter an alternate mode such as TBT would cause a billboard event. The GPIO goes high whenever the TPS65987D sends a billboard event to the rest of the system due to a PD event.
