ONET1141L: LIFI DATA Transfer

Hi all,

I have been thinking of working on a project for transferring data(any file format) from one pc to another using light fidelity. But i am not sure how to implement this especially with the drivers . I was looking at the ONET1141L but I am not quite sure whether it will do the job for me. If anyone has any idea, please help me understand and accomplish this. I would be grateful to them. Thanks in advance.

Hi Roy,

ONET1141 device is normally used by optical manufacturers and this is used in optical modules to drive laser - electrical to optical conversion. ONET1141 by itself does not do this task. For your project, you can check with companies like Finisar to acquire different optical module for the whole electrical to optical assembly.

Thanks for the reply but the fact is that there are many finisar products and i am confused. Can you suggest me one?
