TIOS1015EVM: No load current draw

My customer is using the TIOS1015EVM and is noticing ~37mA without any load connected. Any idea what may be the cause?

    Hi Barrett,

    Can you please give some further details on how the board is configured? I.e., what is the L+ voltage, how are the jumpers configured, how is the current being measured, etc.?

    There are a few status LEDs that would consume some current, but what you're reporting is higher than I would expect.

    The customer set P-channel/PNP, jumper on IN (=5v)pin, EN =5V, supply voltage 10-30Vdc @150mA max. When OUT pin connect to GND without LOAD (short to GND) at that time it gets damaged (consume more current than nominal). Would have expected it to detect fault condition.
    Customer has tested this with other samples as well. Results: 37mA & 20mA on two different devices.

    I replied to this previously via email, but I'll follow up here as well - was the current confirmed to be normal before the short-circuit was applied and then always higher afterwards, even after the short-circuit was removed?
