TUSB3410: Windows Driver

Dear Team,

My customer would like use TUSB3410 as USB to I2C bridge.

They would like to know do they must install the driver we put on the TI website? Or could they just use Microsoft inbox driver?

If they must use this driver, could they put this file on their website, so that the end user can download it?

Hi Jim,

After installing the TUSB3410 Firmware the TUSB3410 the device, by default, should show up as a human interface device on your computer using the driver provided by Microsoft Windows. The Virtual COM Port Windows Driver you highlighted is used for USB to UART communication. It sounds like you will not need that driver for your application.
