We are using SN65HVD230 CAN transceiver in one of our product,

In the attached file I wanted to know the use case or working of split capacitor.

Please share the data for this.

    Hello Manjunath,

    The capacitor helps to filter higher-frequency common-mode noise, which can be useful in decreasing RF emissions and increasing RF immunity. It does this by providing an impedance that decreases with increasing frequency, causing increased loading on the common mode component of the differential signaling. The differential-mode component that is used to carry the CAN data would be unaffected.
