Dear Team,
I saw this item in Port Control of TPS65988 Configuration Tool.
I want to know what is the purpose of this item. And what kind of situation I need to check this item?
Thank you.
Regards,
Jim

Hi Jim,
The "15kOhm Resistor Present" field is used with BC1.2 charger detection. Many USB Hubs will have a 15kOhm termination on the D+/D- lines which can effect the BC1.2 detection. When the "15kOhm Resistor Present" field is enabled, the TPS65988 will do BC1.2 detection with the assumption that the 15kOhm termination is also present on the D+/D- lines.
