LMH1297: About stopping the output of OUT0

Part Number: LMH1297
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMH0397

Hello.

I have questions about LMH1297 and LMH0397.

Q1
I want to stop the output of OUT 0 when in EQ mode.
Mute as a way to stop. Or I think there is a way to power down.
What is the difference between these two methods?

Q2
In power down, there are the following registers.
· Share register: 0xFE bit 3, bit 2
· ConfigIO register: 0x31 bit 5, bit 4
What is different?

Thank you.

  • Greetings Ishii-San,

Q1: Power down consumes less power(~<10mW). In both cases, the output goes constant high.

Q2: In CD mode, the state Machin polls or interrogates OUT0_SEL pin and register 0xFE controls override. On the other hand,in EQ mode, equalizer state machin completely control this functionality and thus reg 0x31 of ConfigIO register is used.
