Can you provide its benefits of switching IC(TS3USB221A) against DIP-Switch in terms of timing, speed, eyediagram and etc?

what application they use? DIP-Switch is controlled manually, TS3USB221A-Q1 is controlled by signal

Hi Brian,

Yes, DIP switch is controlled manually. Except the signal control, does switch IC have any advantantage on performance perspective (timinng, speed, eyediagram and etc), comparing to DIP switch? I need the benefits of using switch IC.

It's reviewed for USB switching in an automotive application.

normally DIP switch is used for DC, I can't find any AC electrical spec for Dip switch. switch IC can be used for both DC and AC.
