Got below questions:

 

In our design we need to connect DP83867IRPAP to DP83867IRPAP  loopback on PCB

 

So  the MEDIA DEPENDENT INTERFACE pins shall be connected on PCB between the two   DP83867IRPAP

The DP83867IRPAP is in  two supply configuration

 

Question:

1)what is the circuit connection the MEDIA DEPENDENT INTERFACE between the two the two   DP83867IRPAP on the PCB,

(circuit connection trough media dependant interfaces of first DP83867IRPAP to second DP83867IRPAP)

2)what are the voltage levels on the MEDIA DEPENDENT INTERFACE?

3)does the DP83867IRPAP driver is voltage mode?

    When connecting DP83867 MDI to another DP83867 MDI, connect the pins with the same name to each other i.e. TD_P_A of PHY1 to TD_P_A of PHY2 and so on. Note that the Ethernet PHY need magnetics for isolation and should not be directly connected to each other.

    The voltage levels on the MDI side are defined by IEEE standard. For 1G, the differential voltage will be in the range of 0.67V to 0.82V.

    Yes, DP83867 line driver is voltage mode.

    Does TI can recommended For the magnetics part number and reference design/document for this type of connection  MDI between the two DP83867

    We do not have reference design for trace connection. For magnetics, you can refer to one our evm designs with discrete magnetics: www.ti.com/.../DP83867ERGZ-R-EVM Any magnetics with similar electrical characteristic should be ok. For magnetics connection with PHY, refer to the DP83867 datasheet.
