Hello,

I have use PCA9516 as a buffer for I2C, 

Please refer to our architecture, What is the impact of PSU BP plugging and unplugging on I2C?

    It doesn't look like we support the PCA9516 as it is a device made by a different company. It may be best to get feedback from that company.

    My personal thoughts are that the PCA9516 does not support a true hot plug event and could cause glitches to the I2C bus during insertion. If your PCA9516 is disabled, it should help prevent any glitches to appear on the other side of it.
