my customer is planning to use the DP83848M device in their project and they have a questions reqarding the RMII-Interface of this device.
In their Database, they had a datasheet of the DP83848M from 2005 (National Semiconductor), and the datasheet didn't mention the RMII-Interface. But in the latest version of the datasheet that is available on the web right now, the RMII-Interface Rev. 1.2 is mentioned. They would like to know since when the DP83848M supports RMII-Interface and if it is true that this device didn't support this interface in the past.
Please note that i can't post the datasheet from 2005 on this forum since it's marked as confidential. But i can share it internally with you.
