A1. if you want to disable TX, you can do the following
{0xFF, 0x01} , // Select Page 1
{0x10, 0xF0} , //Disable all Tx Lanes
{0xFF, 0x00} , // Select Page 0

A2. When the SNx5DP159 is put into a power down state, I2C registers are cleared.

A3. Compliance testing is very system design specific, I don't believe the test can be passed by automatic setting. You have to tune the DP159 setting depending on the system parameter.
