Here is configuration for SN65MLVD206B (4 Transeiver is used).

Could you please confirm cable requirement for above configuration ?

Per the M-LVDS standard, the basic cables requirements are that it needs to be twisted pair, the characteristic impedance need to be 100 ohm +/-10%, and the attenuation need to be < 6dB. Typically, Cat5 cables are used. For longer distances and higher rates, shielding and higher wire gauge will be helpful.

According to following page, cable requirement is changed depending on cable category and speed at least.

I also would like to know cable length for each case.
I think that this limitation depends on not only node number and speed but also cable attenuation and category.
Could you show specification(or app note) for TI M-LVDS device ?

Hello Machida-san,

There are no specific cable requirements beyond what I mentioned. We do have results of rate and distance testing for TI M-LVDS devies for 1 type of cable which is Cat5e: www.ti.com/.../slaa845 .
Also, we do have results from testing LVDS devices with different types of cables: www.ti.com/.../slla053 . This is with LVDS devices, not M-LVDS devices, but it gives you an idea about the effect of the cable type on LVDS performance in general.
