I have connected the GPIO 0 - 6 to my oscilloscope.

I want to see the signals on the scope I am using the Analog Launchpad.

I want to know how i can i get the line valid and frame valid signals or else pulse on GPIO how to set the register 's and get values on logic analyzer

What Register setting in need to change in the Analog launch pad. I am currently at the

Value =7F for GPIO_Input_CTL

Value=00 for 0x10_GPIO_PIN_CTL

Value = 00 for OX11_GP01_PIN_CTL

You can use the GPIO tab in ALP to configure this:

To do this via registers, here are the register values:

I am very thankful for your Reply, It solved my issue now I am able to view the Line valid and Frame valid on the Scope and measure the pulses.

I have to now Add the Pixel Clock is any way I can assign the GPIO 0 or others

Right now I am using the GPIO _1 (Frame valid)

GPIO_ 2 (Line_Valid)

Hi Balvinder,

What serializer are you using? There isn't a designated PCLK in the CSI-2 interface used by 953 and 954.

Hi Balvinder,

There isn't a way to look at the PCLK on the 954, so I would recommend measuring the PCLK on the 913 side.

If you are trying to compare the PCLK to lineValid and frameValid, you may prefer to measure HSYNC & VSYNC directly on the 913 side as well.

The Serializer I am using is LVDS Tix 953 How can I take its PCLK using Analog launch pad to the GPIO PIN

What Settings I have to do for this in Analog launch pad

Balvinder,

I thought you said you were using the 913? The 953 uses CSI-2 so it doesn't have a designated PCLK.

If you are using the 913, you can measure the PCLK directly at the input.

Oh sorry about the confusion,

I am using CSI -2 Video I am able to view Frame valid and line valid but I want to view the CSI _D[3:0]+- Data on the scope

Once you enable forwarding on the 954, you can measure the CSI-2 data lanes directly at the output. You can enable forwarding on the forwarding tab of ALP:

I think there is some confusion here, I am only able to Probe GPIO PINS I do have any connector to connect J 24 on the DS90UBB54_Evaluation Board.

Hi Balvinder,

There is no way to output the CSI-2 output onto the GPIOs.

You will need to either get an adapter for the CSI-2 connector (J24 or J26, details can be found in the DS90UB954-Q1EVM User Guide), or rework the board to gain access to the CSI-2 outputs directly.
