DS90UB954-Q1: POC layout recommendation needed

hi,

I have planned to use DS90UB954 in my design with POC, where  I have placed POC filter components at bottom side of PCB and the DS90UB954 chip on top side of PCB, and using 59S2AQ-40MT5-Z_1 Rosenberger FAKARA connector, which is SMD component. can you please suggest me how many via is required to connect the POC filter circuit ( POC currect 800mA ) to the FAKARA connector and other recommended layout options for my case.

    Hello-

    What PoC filter are you planning on using?  Note that the ferrite beads in the PoC circuits recommended in the 954 datasheet are only good for up to 250 mA of current going through them.

    The layout recommendations are given in the 954 datasheet Section 10.1.2 and Figure 59.
