For a new card we are starting we are checking if we can power the system from a USB type C connector
Dose TI has a controller for sink (dead battery) application that will do all the negotiation with the power supply to start the power to the system
The part I see on the site TUSB422 need a microprocessor so will not work if there is no power – can you please verify this
We will need a minimum of 20W and the 20V of the USB type C and NOT the 5V standby VBUS
