hello,

After a Decap of a unit of the obsoleted model DS3695ATM/NOPB, the Die is identified as  DS16195B. can anyone confirm if this is correct? i mean, the Die identification DS16195B matches with the p/n DS3695ATM/NOPB or could be a counterfeit part?

    DS16195B is the die ID, while DS3695ATM/NOPB is the device name. It's not common the names are different but it happens sometimes. Please let me know if you have more questions.

    Thanks for your quick repoly, threrefore, I understand that the Die ID DS16195B matches with the p/n DS3695ATM/NOPB, can you confirm this point?.

    On the other hand, another question: could be that this  Die ID is also used for other part number different to DS3695ATM/NOPB, for example the NO Rohs ítem, or a device with diffrent p/n but similar functionality?  or it only can be for DS3695ATM/NOPB exactly?

    You may find attached a picture of the Die after Decap. As you will see beside the DS16195B marking there is a AAAAABABAA does it have any special meaning?

    Finally, can i consider this as an oficial T.I reply?

    Yes. I can confirm that the Die ID DS16195B matches with the p/n DS3695ATM/NOPB.

    For your second question, I have not found the same device with No Rohs option. I haven't found another p/n with the same id either.

    I have no idea if the string of As and Bs means anything. My guess is no.

    Dear Hao,

    Sorry to get back to you again about this issue. I hope these are my last questions.

    Please, can you confirm if there is any chance that the same Die ID DS16195B was used for the P/N DS3695AM, that is the commercial device with temperature range of only 0-70ºC, of for P/N DS3696A , that is a similar device, besides using it on the DS3695ATM?

    From the information I can find out, DS3696A uses a different die than DS3695AM (DS16195B). Please let me know if you have more questions.

    Therefore, according to your reply DS3695AM and DS3695ATM both references have the same die Id DS16195B, right? The comercial and the industrial has the same same die. am i correct?

    It looks both DS3695AM and DS3695ATM have the same die. But please don't assume these two devices are the same. The devices listed for different grade (commercial and industrial) go through different test programs and the electrical spec are guaranteed in different conditions. Please let me know if you have more questions.
