does DP83869 support SYNCE and PTP function? if not, do we have Giga Phy that support the function? tks!

Hi Vera,

The DP83869HM supports SYNCE and IEEE1588 SFD.
There is no hardware timestamp support.

how about the SFD precision of 83869?and is SFD for the ethernet package or 1588 package? tks!

Hi Vera,

Precision of the SFD indication is in the nS range.
It is not a packet timestamp, but instead a generated pulse that is connected to a GPIO of the processor.
This provides a more accurate time for when a packet is on the MDI.

Hi Vera,

I do not think 3ns is possible with a non-hardware timestamp implementation.
Hundreds of nS is more likely for an SFD implementation.
