Our customer has following question.

Could you please answer it?

tSD is shown as 32.5T (min) and 44T(max) on the datasheet.

What is the cause of this variability?

It seems to be too much even though it is caused of PCLK jitter.

Hello,
This is a function of the PCLK frequency/period and whether its 10-bit mode or 12-bit. The variation can be caused by the quality of the PCLK and how clean it is.

Variation in the latency is caused by the presence of synchronizers and FIFOs in the Serializer data path. If this answers your question, please close the thread
