Looking through the datasheet it appears if you set it to I2C mode, That the DIR0, DIR1, CTL0, CTL1, FLIP, SWAP pins are all ignored.
I have a couple questions
1) Would you leave DIR0, DIR1, SWAP, CTL1 floating in I2C mode?
2) It looks like it would come up as One Port USB 3.1 No Flip, with the input/output Mapping matching the LLLHL In Table 4?
3) Is there any way to change the defaults it would come up in?
