TPS65987-90EVM: D14 parts missing and SYS-PWR seems short to GND

Part Number: TPS65987-90EVM

Dear TI,

I purchased a TPS65987-90EVM board and try to use USB Mircro- b to flash the FW to tool board, but the device can't be found in my PC.

And also found the LED D14 part missing.

Also the SYS_PWR short to GND which is measured by Multimeter.

Could I send the TPS65987-90EVM BACK to TI?

Hi Sophia,
Have you applied external DC power to J9 Barrel Jack?
The J3 (Micro USB) cannot supply power to the board.
The TPS65987-90EVM should wake up itself only with J9 at first.
Once you configure correctly, it could sink with J1 (USB-C).
