TVS3300: Over 400W power with peak pulse

Hi

Do you have competitive TVS product against SMAJ28A?

SMAJ28A has power dissipation capability to 400W with 10/1000us waveform while TVS3300 has that of 150W.

We need over 600W.

    Hello,

    In what application are you using this device?  The industry standard for surge pulse highlighted in IEC61000-4-5 is an 8/20us pulse.

    Thank you for your reply.

    The customer usecase may be particular.

    If the motor in idle state is driven by external force, the motor would generate power.
    TVS will be used to suppress surge when the motor generates electric power.
    (Application is not specified.)

    Therefore, I think a practical performance for this usecase could not be defined by common standard.

    At least, the customer says that 400W with 10/1000us capability is not sufficient. (The device will be broken.)
