Hi,
For the DS80PCI800 it is recommended to have 50-75% of the total channel length (attenuation) located on the DS80PCI800 input side. The remaining 25-50% on the output side.
The DS80PCI810 has better linearity so it can be effective even when placed closer to the PCIe system TX pins.
For the DS80PCI810 it is recommended to have a minimum of 33% of the total channel length on the DS80PCI810 input side.

Lee
Hello Lee,
Can this device communicate with data bus length less than 1-inch?
I understand that the data bus length depends on the insertion loss of that route.
If TI conducted experiments with the shortest line length, I would like to know the conditions and results.
