TUSB211: TUSB211 question

Part Number: TUSB211
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TUSB212, , TS3USB221

Hello

             Please refer to below question. Thank you.

1. TUSB211's EQ pin is for DC boot, but TUSB212/213's EQ pin is for AC bootst. What is different for DC boost and AC boost?

2. Why does 211/212 define D1P/M should be shorted to D2P/M, but 213 doesn't?

3. 212/213 supports I2C mode, can I leave I2C pins floating if I don't need it?

4. What's your suggestion to put 211/212/213 based on below layout?

LTE device(Device, TX eye is weak) <-1.2" trace length-> USB2.0 1:2 MUX(TI TS3USB221) <-5.3" trace length to CPU(Host) and 0.63" trace length to micro USB connector(Host).

Customer have a TI TS3USB221  between CPU and LTE device for USB2.0 connection.

They measure the eye diagram is good at LTE device end(MUX is switched  to CPU, and CPU is a host); but the eye diagram is marginal failed at micro USB connector(MUX is switched to microUSB connector, and LTE device is a slave).

So we think the LTE devie's driving capability is weak.
