Vamsi,

The Link-PP LPJG16314A4NL isn't acceptable for the DP83867 devices. The center taps close to the PHY must not be connected on a single net.

Any magnetics used with the DP83867 should have a schematic similar to the figure 26 in the datasheet. The most critical point is this center tap nets are not joined.

Kindly suggest some RJ45 connectors of smaller dimensions which DP83867e supports.

Vamsi,

See the DP83867IRPAP which has an integrated magnetics jack on it. Part number is 7499111000A from Wurth.

There are also Halo magjacks that support the DP83867E. See the image below for part numbers. Only circuits E and F support the 867.

We have found HFJT1-E1G46-L12RL to meet our requirements. But please re-confirm if the center tap net connections are ok & the part is compatible with DP83867ERGZ.

Yes, HFJT1-E1G46-L12RL is compatible and suitable for use with DP83867E.
