SN75DP159: How to tie unused control signals

Part Number: SN75DP159

Hello,

I have a few questions.

We are using the SN75DP159 to transmit HDMI from a Xilinx FPGA to our LCD, which doesn't use HPD or DDC I2C.

  1. If we don't use the SCL/SDA_SRC, then I tie these pins to ground?
  2. If I don't use the SCL/SDA_SNK then I pull these high?
  3. Instead of HPD, we use a ground pin to let us know that the LCD has been plugged in. I'm thinking about using an inverter on this signal to satisfy the HPD requirement or even tying HPD permanently high to 3.3V to work around it? Can you comment?

Regards,
Ryan B.

Is this a HDMI or DP application? How does the source communicate to the LCD without using the DDC I2C?

The SCL/SDA_SRC must be pulled to GND if not used. But I need to understand their design background to make recommendation on question 2 and 3.

    Thanks
    David
