We are working on some existing EOL tester and NCV7321D11R2G  is used for LIN functionality

 

Can we drop-in replace this IC with TI part# SN65HVDA100QDRQ1?

    Yes, the NCV7321 and the SN65HVDA100 are pin-to-pin compatible. There are some minor timing parameter differences, shown in the table below:

    SN65HVDA100 NCV7261 Unit
    LIN Bus Dominant Wake-Up Time Min: 25, Typ: 100, Max: 150 Min: 30, Typ: 90, Max: 150 μs
    Local Wake Dominant Wake-Up Time Min: 25, Typ: 50, Max: 150 Min: 7, Max: 50 μs
    Dominant Timeout Min: 20, Typ: 34, Max: 80 Min: 15, Max: 50 μs
    Mode Change Time Max: 5 Min: 2, Typ: 7.5, Max: 18.5 μs

    These may or may not cause changes in the controller software.
