Dear Team,
we have a question regarding serializers/deserializers for FPD-Link III.
So, we have application CPU that has HDMI or LVDS display output (we are looking for both). From other side we have small and low resolution display with 24bit RGB interface (400x400 max).
One of our possible architectures is to use that CPU to drive three of these displays (2x LVDS, 1x HMDI output from CPU). CPU and whole control unit are remote so we are considering using FPD-Link III to connect between them.
I was looking into DS90UH926Q-Q1 deserializer that has RGB interface output, but does it require also RGB to FPD-Link III serializer or it can be LVDS/HDMI to FPD-link III serializer?
Control unit (CPU) side must have HDMI/LVDS serializers. On other side we can possibly make conversion with something like DS90CF384AQ, but we would like to reduce number of ICs.
What would be the best approach, can you help us?
