Linux/DS90UB953-Q1: Is there any referenced register scripts of UB953&UB954?

Hi,

We build a camera link of IMX378(csi2 1080P@60) with DS90UB954 and DS90UB953 Pair.The sensor is inited by mcu on camera board.Now I need to initialize the UB953 and UB954,however,I am not familiar with the FPD Ⅲ .Is there any referenced code about how to initialize UB953 and UB954?

Can ti provide me some scripts and send them to my email chen.chao@visionknow.com?

Hello,

if you use the latest (production) devices (953 and 954) then NO initialization script is needed. these devices will work in Back Channel synchronous mode by default.

To make sure you are using the latest devices, reading out register 0x50 on the 953 and register 0x03 on the 954 will give you the answer. Having the value 0x20 on both cases means the latest devices.

Hi,

As I said, the devices will work by default in the Back Channel synchronous mode with 50 Mbps. If your Hardware settings on both sides are matching with these configurations, then yes, it should work.

Hi,

Unfortunately,our devices work in the non-synchronous back channel,so is there any specific register should be config(except 0x58 on the UB954 and 0x03 on the UB953 )?
